Repair Café returns to Warford Activity Center September 19, 2026! Get a beloved, broken item repaired at no cost!

Got something broken you just can’t part with? Don’t toss it—bring it to the Repair Café on Saturday, September 19th from 11am to 3pm at Warford Activity Center (1330 NW 18th Ave, Amarillo).

Whether it’s a lamp, a favorite sweater, or a small appliance, our volunteer fixers will be on hand to work with you to repair it. Though we cannot guarantee every item will be fixed, our repair experts will work with you to find a solution.

What to bring: Each family is welcome to bring one item for repair. If time allows, we may be able to accommodate additional items. Please note, residents must stay with their items during the repair process—this is a hands-on experience where you’ll be learning alongside our fixers.

-Clothing/textiles

-Bicycles

-Household appliances under 40 pounds

-Wooden furniture under 40 pounds

-Computers/electronics under 40 pounds

Repair Cafe isn’t a typical repair shop—it’s a fun, community-focused event centered on sustainability and sharing knowledge. It’s a great way to meet your neighbors, learn new skills, and keep your belongings out of the landfill.
