Ever seen 20+ hot air balloons lift off within the city limits of Amarillo? Amarillo Parks & Recreation and Pirates of the Canyon are bringing a showstopping event to John Stiff Memorial Park this fall, called Pirates of the Park! Pirates of the Park is a free, two-part event that is open to all! Check out the event schedule below!

• 6:00pm – Let the Halloween festivities begin!
  •  Wear your best costume because we’re having a costume contest at the gazebo. All you have to do is check in at the gazebo at or before 6pm! View event map here!
  • Trick-or-treat from hot air balloons and collect the balloon trading cards. View live updates to where the balloons are here! 
  • Visit the food trucks and vendors onsite. 
  • Enjoy kid-friendly games.
• 7:00pm – Balloon glow! Hot air balloons inflate and sit in the park in a spectacular display.
