Junior Development Program

The Junior Development Program is perfect for kids 17 and under who can't spend all day in camp but still want to stay active and play tennis.  Call (806) 359-2090 to sign up today!

Payments due first week of each month for any program offered. No make up allowed for any Junior Program class missed due to the participant. If programs are canceled due to weather, makeup time is on Friday of the following week (times will be announced during the next class). Class participants need to be picked up within 15 minutes of end of each session or arrangements must be made in advance.

Kids, Inc. Learn to Play Sessions

Kids, Incorporated and the Alex O'Brien Foundation are excited to announce that they are teaming up to provide tennis at an affordable cost to the children and families of the Texas Panhandle! The registration fee is $50. This includes 4 program dates, a shirt, a new tennis racket for the child to keep, and an end-of-year medal. 

All equipment will be provided at each training session. Kids, Incorporated tennis will focus on teaching the basics of the sport to children.

Beginners are taught the following tennis skills using fun, game-like format:
           • Proper racket techniques              
           • Serve and volley instruction
           • Scoring and court etiquette 

Advanced players are separated into small teams. The team coach or parent volunteer will help the team with individual skills, game play, and tournament format. The last two Saturday sessions will include tournament style competition among the teams.

Training groups will be formed in the following groups:
       • Kindergarten - 1st Grade  9:00am - 10:00am      
       • 2nd Grade - 3rd Grade 10:15 am - 11:15 am
       • 4th Grade - 5th Grade- 6th Grade 11:30 am - 12:30 pm
