2/1/2017 2017 Firedogs Calendar- To Be Mailed
 
Activity Description:  All proceeds from the sale of these calendars will go towards the Helping Hands Scholarship Fund. The goal of the Helping Hands program is to increase the number of children that learn to swim, and take away the financial barrier many people face when deciding if their children should learn to swim. Activity Description:  Class is Tuesday May 30- Saturday June 3, 2017.
Tues. May 30th- 8:00am- 1:00pm Southwest Pool (48th and Bell)
Wed. May 31st- 8:00am- 1:00pm Southwest Pool
Thurs. June 1st- 8:00am- 1:00pm Southwest Pool
Fri. June 2nd- 8:00am- 1:00pm Southwest Pool
Sat. June 3rd- 8:00am- 1:00pm Southwest Pool
Bring fluids, snacks and several towels. Training provided by Amarillo Parks & Recreation. Certification provided by Ellis & Associates. Only $50 will be refunded if you cancel the class or you do not pass the pre swim.
6/12/2017 2017 Jr. Guard 1st Session- Southeast
 
Activity Description:  June 12, 13 & 15
Fee includes t-shirt, visor, whistle, and training. Last 30 minutes of class is "FREE" time. Bring a towel, water bottle and money for the concessions (optional)

This session is for ages 11-15 year olds and provides training in basic First-Aid, CPR and aquatic rescue procedures. Our program is fun and educational. Our goal is to prepare youth for the skills necessary to the work in the lifeguard environment, promote lifetime fitness values, how to become an effective team member, and leadership skills. This class is for students that have had at least 1 yr experience, and are ages 12-15. This 2 day course will update CPR and first aid skills. Registration Form
